BLUE VELVET MADRID

Serenade is an installation and performance by PRICE that marked the official inauguration of Blue Velvet Madrid.

Incorporating industrial textiles commonly used in ventilation systems, the performance takes form through choreographed gestures, live vocals, and musical accompaniment by viola da gamba musician Renato Grieco. By reimagining the romantic tradition of singing beneath a window, the performance transforms this intimate act of longing into a compelling sensory encounter within the raw, industrial setting of the venue.

The performance took place on March 6th from 10 to 11 PM at Blue Velvet Madrid (C/ Pablo Ortiz 9, 28026, Madrid).
