Ștefan Tănase
*1996, lives and works in Zurich

Ștefan Tănase lives and works between Zurich and Lausanne, Switzerland since 2017. The topics he addresses in his practice range from labor to delivery, internet to experiments, and what it's like to live in the 21st century as a millennial migrant; It is translated through sculpture, digital imagery, and video. Composing, decomposing, scanning, and delivering different types of energy and dynamics.

Co-founder of GoodBuy Gallery (2019), with a background in Graphics (the National University of Arts Bucharest from 2015-2016) and Visual Communication (Higher Institute of Fine Arts, Besançon, France from 2016-2017), Ștefan Tănase completed bachelor's (2017-2020) and Master's (2020-2022) degree in Fine Arts at the Cantonal School of Art and Design of Lausanne (Ecal).

He exhibited in galleries and museums such as Suprainfinit Gallery, Zina Gallery, Cazul101, Blue Velvet Projects, MASI (Museo d'arte della Svizzera italiana, Lugano), MARe (Museum of Recent Art, Bucharest) - where is part of the permanent collection.
